Chaka Camp is an intimate mobile tented camp located in the Serengeti ecosystem. The word ‘Chaka’ comes from the word 'kichaka,' which means 'bush' in Swahili.

Chaka Camp operates off-the-grid and relies on a custom built solar system for its power. Room fabrics are handwoven African designs, and the camp's furniture was commissioned and crafted by artisans in Arusha, Tanzania.

With three decades of Tanzanian tourism experience between them, owners Hezron Mbise and Stacy Readal have combined their safari and business backgrounds to create Chaka Camp. Hezron and Stacy welcome you to their camp and invite you to share their passion for Tanzania's people and wildlife.

Karibuni sana!
